Once you've chosen your topic and have your question to be answered.
- Think up words to describe everything you can about your topic
- research your topic and these words
- this way you will learn what everyone else already knows about it
- write down all of your references - you can use this if you like
Background Research.
There is probably a great deal of information on your topic already out there. But, not necessarily. There are many elementary kids who have made discoveries during their science projects just in the last few years. You are trying to gain the knowledge about your question/topic that is already out there. Save your notes and all you learned.
